She gave her life to the anti-colonialist and revolutionary struggle. She also gave it to cinema, as a journalist, critic (Lettres françaises, Positif...) and aspiring filmmaker. In this Vie manifeste traced by Jean-Gabriel Périot, cinema and commitment are woven together through a selection of films loved or criticized by Michèle Firk, to whom Nadia Tereszkiewicz lends her voice. The filmmaker (via the voice of Alice Diop) addresses her in a form of friendly camaraderie, "from filmmaker to filmmaker", where the passage of time is transcended by the burning actuality of past and future struggles.
