The history of the mas de Can Saragossa follows the rhythm of the history of the town of Lloret. In its origins, it was one of the oldest masos in the village. Modernist reforms in the 19th century turned it into a luxury summer resort until its reform as a hotel in 1954. Currently, the ground floor hosts permanent exhibitions of Iberian archaeology and the first floor hosts temporary exhibitions; its premises house the seat of the Cultural Heritage Unit, among others, of the Lloret de Mar Town Council. Activity included in the Cap de Setmana Ibèric, within the framework of La Ruta dels Ibers.
