L’últim àtom

Friday 25 September - 20:00h L'últim àtom, by Jordi Oriol, opens the new season of the Teatre Zorrilla de Badalona with an apocalyptic tragicomedy that is as intelligent as it is overflowing. A show that combines science, humour and stage play to speak of a world that is cracking and a reality that is increasingly difficult to define. An emergency scientific cabinet meets to find an answer to the disintegration of the matter that sustains human life; a couple that faces how to say goodbye to a missing daughter; and two brothers who confront the progressive loss of their mother's language. Three stories crossed by fragility and uncertainty that seek to sustain existence in a world that may be fading. With a vibrant stage production and a text rich in layers of meaning and unexpected twists, the show turns uncertainty into dramatic motor and explores the deeply human need to build fictions to give meaning to a reality that, constantly, slips away us. Stage uncertainty of maximum genius and brilliance.
