Mystica is a captivating fusion of circ and polyphony conceived as a ritual inspired by Hildegard of Bingen, a writer and composer from the 12th century. The multidisciplinary company from Flanders, Movedbymatter, reinterprets her writings to bring these figures to the present as women of flesh and bone, creating a spiritual microcosmos where everything is interconnected. On stage, capillary suspension artists perform polyphonic singing alongside members of a choir, forming a community that learns to speak a shared language. The experience aims to be unique and immersive to celebrate shared consciousness and feminine mystical energy, offering the audience the possibility of living the piece even from the same stage.
